Ilhabela, one of the largest Ocean Islands of Brazil, has over 350 square kilometers, from which over 90% is part of the Atlantic Rain Forest.
Its nature is very rich and diversified. Multicolored birds and wild animals are found in all tracks that lead to waterfalls and panoramic viewed picks, such as Papagaio and Baepí. To know these places better and to avoid risks, we recommend you to take guided tours.

 WATERFALLS:

    The tracks to Gato Waterfall, at Castelhano’s Bay, are great! The waterfall height is over 60 meters. To reach it, you should take a 40 minutes walk on a path, but it’s worthwhile. 
You can reach Castelhano’s Bay by a 4x4 Jeep Tour (cheaper) or, in case you want to go by the sea, you could contract either a scooner or a speedy boat to take you there.  
    Another suggestion is Laje Waterfall. A one1-hour walk through a difficult path reaches this place, at the southest part of the Island. This waterfall is recommended to the ones who love adventure!  
Três Tombos has easy access. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot.  
Veloso, with its height of over 100 meters, it has many natural swimming pools and is accessed by a 40-minute walk. It is worthy going! 
Through all these paths you will be able to see and enjoy the beauty of Toucans, Iguanas and Squirrels, just to name a few wild animals and birds.

• Jeep Tour to Castelhano's Bay - A full-day tour by 4x4 Jeep, through the Jungle, including Gato Waterfall. Free pick-up and deliver at Isola Bella Inn (except during New Years'and Carnival). 

• Scooner to Jabaquara Beach or Fome Beach - Departure from Perequê Pier at 10 AM and 2 PM, for a four-hour cruise to Jabaquara Beach.

• Rappel in Waterfalls - Includes instructor
